NOTE: International students who are applying from outside Canada should apply at least six to nine months in advance of the semester to which they wish to apply. Nevertheless, ISLS accepts applications all year round. But remember, ISLS service will not exceed three months from date of application.

PLEASE, NOTE:

VERY IMPORTANT TO GRADUATE APPLICANTS: Students must meet school and departmental requirements with prove of documents for admission. Once your program match is concluded and school information sent to you, check to be sure you meet departmental requirement and contact ISLS immediately if you have any questions. Note the GPA required. This differs from university to university and department to department. But be sure your GPA is at least 3.0. If you possess a lower GPA of 2.0, ISLS will help to locate a school that accepts that grade and the program match. When you apply, ISLS will help to check if thesis is required for your program of choice before proceeding.

ISLS will not be held responsible for your lack of adherence.

STUDENTS’ / ISLS' RESPONSIBILITIES DURING THE ADMISSION PROCESS


STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. You would have to fill ISLS application form to enable accurate computerized input of your information. And sign all documents or forms where necessary
2. You would have to provide all required documents and payments where applicable
3. You would have to accept your admission and pay all outstanding fees
4. You would have to apply for your student visa once accepted into a school
5. You would have to send a special request email to ISLS to contact school on your behalf as a reminder for airport pick-up
6. You would have to send all information about the status of your visa and travel itinerary to ISLS to initiate action with school if so required

You will be required to pay the total charges off-front with refunds (if applicable) or a deposit as specified on the ISLS form for school search:

• School application fee
• Administrative fee
• Bank charges
• Courier charges
• ISLS Service Charge (If applicable) will be paid on admission.

All other school outstanding fees (Tuition etc.) will be sent to you on admission.

Payment document is required on every payment made. Use your name as reference

ISLS RESPONSIBILITIES:

When you contact ISLS with all necessary documents and information,

1. ISLS will match your program choice with appropriate schools and locate which school(s) relates most to your interest
2. ISLS will liaise between you and the school for necessary information; making contacts on your behalf to get you the most successful and beneficial results for your admission
3. ISLS will give valid and current information that will be of help prior to study visa application
4. ISLS will help you when and where necessary through the application and admission period from beginning to end.
5. If required, ISLS will follow-up during your acclimatization period (Optional) this is NOT custodianship service
6. ISLS will stand by you to help where necessary while in Canada as a good student
